Compensation Analyst

We are open to full time work at home employees as well as local candidates who would be willing to work a hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days in the office and the remainder at home.
Responsibilities -

Administers enterprise-wide salary and incentive compensation programs for exempt and non-exempt positions.

Collaborates with the Compensation Leader, Total Rewards Leader, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders to administer pay practices that support Westfield’s compensation philosophy.

Analyzes and evaluates job duties and responsibilities, applying the principles of market pricing to determine and recommend the appropriate market value of jobs, while assuring internal equity of positions.

Conducts and/or participates in compensation surveys that are reflective of organizations and/or industries in which the enterprise competes for talent.

Compiles data from various survey sources and assists in maintaining the master database of external market values. Ensures Westfield jobs are matched appropriately to survey jobs.

Provides training and instruction to Leaders, through collaboration with the HR Business Partners, in the application of compensation programs and guideline interpretation, including job evaluation and job description processes.
Qualifications -
Required:
-
3+ years of compensation experience OR 4+ years of combined human resource/compensation experience OR 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience in business or financial analysis.

1+ years of corporate experience working with PeopleSoft or similar HRMS/HRIS.

Mathematical and/or financial aptitude gained through previous projects and work experiences.

Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel.
Preferred:
-
Experience analyzing problems and developing strategies for resolution gained through previous work assignments.

Working knowledge of compensation theory and practices.
Physical Requirements -
-
Ability to work effectively in an office environment for 40 hours per week (including sitting, standing, and working on a computer for extended periods of time).

Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as: telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, email, etc.

Ability to travel as required.
